- THE PIT: Every Monday-Friday : 2-6 p.m.: Ages 12-18. Unwind after school in our teens-only room. Draw on the walls or use the computers; play games on our PS2 and Wii or just hang out with your friends. The Pit is the place for Teens to have fun at the library.
- TEEN ANIME/MANGA CLUB: Meets every other Thursday for appreciation of the illustrated and Japanese Arts. Next Meeting: Thursday, August 13 at 4:30 p.m. - featuring Ragnarok.
- TIME TWISTED THEATER!: Tuesday, August 11, at 2:00 p.m.. Screening Erik the Viking. Snacks provided.
- GAMING TOURNAMENTS: Wednesday, July 29 at 2 p.m.: Guitar Hero! Prizes will be awarded to the top 4 players in each tournament. Tournament slots will be limited to, at most, 16 participants. Players must be present for role-call at 2 p.m. SHARP in order to participate. Please call the library to pre-register.
- TEEN ADVISORY BOARD: This teen group will meet once a month to plan future activities, suggest books for purchase, and provide local teens with a voice at the library. New members are welcome. If you just can’t wait for the meeting or just can’t make it, send us your suggestions for books, programs or anything that might make the library better to mmorrison@burlesonlibrary.com.
